Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, an official guide will be at your service to help you discover the city. Marrakech, also known as the "red city," is a magnificent town that holds great importance in the country. This name is derived from the colors of many of its buildings and houses. With a professional guide, you will explore the best sites of Marrakech, including the Bahia Palace, the Jewish quarter, Koutoubia Gardens, souks, and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. This square has been declared a "World Heritage" site by UNESCO in 2001. You can also visit the stunning Majorelle Gardens. The night will be spent in Riad Fabiola or a similar accommodation.
Commencing at 7:00 a.m. from Marrakech, we will embark on a journey through the Atlas Tizi-n-Tichka pass, which boasts awe-inspiring mountainous views. Our trail will lead us to the Berber villages that proudly uphold their traditions in the High Atlas region. Thereafter, we will continue our expedition to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we will take a moment to explore. Upon reaching Ouarzazate, we will visit the Kasbah Taourirt and set out towards the Dades gorges through the valley of roses. We will conclude our day's journey in Boulmane Dades, where you will spend the night. Rest assured, our team of professionals will ensure an unforgettable experience.
Our journey begins with a departure to Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, where the Sahara desert awaits. As we traverse through the region, we will come across various Berber villages and explore the stunning gorges of Todra, Tinjdad, and Erfoud. Witness the beauty of the Tafilalet oasis and continue towards a luxury bivouac in Merzouga. A camel caravan will take you through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, providing a breathtaking view of the sunset. Spend the night in a luxury bivouac (Berber nomadic tents) under the starry sky, while being entertained with traditional music.
Today, you have a whole day to experience the breathtaking beauty of Merzouga and the Sahara desert. Start your day early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, enjoy a thrilling 4x4 excursion and have lunch in Khamlia. Then, head back to Merzouga for another night of luxury in a beautiful Bivouac, where you can sleep under the starry sky.
